Our Mission Statement
St. Paul’s Evangelical Covenant Church is an active community of faith, dedicated to serving God through Jesus Christ. Our ongoing ministry seeks to nurture our spirit and enable us to grow as disciples through worship, fellowship, mission and outreach.
Worship
In the act of worship, we gather with others to praise God, confess our sins, receive forgiveness, listen for God’s Word and respond to God’s love. In worship, we remember who we are and Whose we are.
The Bible
While we affirm the ancient creeds of the church (the Apostle’s and Nicene Creeds in particular), we are a non-creedal church, accepting the Bible, the Old and New Testaments, as the word of God and the only perfect rule for faith, doctrine and conduct.
Sacrament of Holy Communion
St. Paul’s practices “open communion”, which means that all who confess Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord are welcome at this table. He is our Host and we are His guests.
